Kavya Kumbh is a poetry festival built on a simple conviction: the written and spoken word still belongs at the centre of public life, not at its margins.

It began in Central India as a stage for voices that rarely find one — students reading in public for the first time, homemakers with years of unwritten lines, senior writers completing a lifelong ambition, and celebrated poets whose work shaped generations. All of them share the same microphone.

Two chapters in, it has grown from an event into a cultural movement: a gathering where Hindi, Urdu and regional languages meet, where audiences stay long past the applause, and where new poetry is written because the festival exists.
